Keith Paskewitz brought his new Dirty Bird from that he built from a Tower Hobby kit.  He striped the red covering off the wings, reapplied his own colors of Monokote, added mechanical retracts, scratch built brakes and used a YS .61 long stroke 2-cycle engine/pipe combination that Tom Egbert gave him.  (Thanks Tom).

On the table behind him are light weight combs that Keith gave to everyone to advertise his Metro Area R/C Flying website.

Tom Egbert brought his new Twisted Hobbies Crack Yak EPP plane.  This is the first EPP plane that flys like a Depron foam plane.

Gale Sherman brought his new Crack-Yak and a Hobby king Tiger moth that he built.

These Crack Yak planes fly so well that everyone is going to have one before long!

Gale Sherman rebuilt the wing from Joe Cole's crashed Valkyrie old timer plane for Tom Egbert.  The wing is a thing of beautiful art and Gale did such a splendid job on it.

Here's another shot of Keith's Dirty Bird with the gear up. Paskewitz's

We all had a great time celebrating the "End of the World on 12/21/12 the day the Mayan calendar stopped.
