January 2014 Meeting

Here we are enjoying indoor flying after the Performance Flyer's meeting.  It's always great fun!  This is the Gym in La Vista that Indoor Flying started in.

Her you see a loyal bunch of R/C flyers.

Our President Tom Egbert and founder of the Midwest Performance Flyer's.

Mike Moritko explained how he grounded the tail on his Blade 500X, so that static electricity wouldn't interfere with the radio.

Gail Sherman brought his BA Hawkbomber that is an EDF "Electric Ducted Fan".

Rick Lingenfelter impressed everyone with his very nicely made FT Cruiser.  This is a scratch built FPV powered by a 2200 Mah 3 cell Lipo with 480 rez. googles.        Chuck Clover brought a Mr. Mulligan that he built in about 1935.  It is powered by a Fox .19 and covered with Monokote.
Chuck still has the original box.           Here's another shot of the Mono-coupe

Clay Hollister, on the left, told about his autodesk CFD-Project Falcon Eagle Tree Software.

Ed Jelinek, on the right, was selling membership for MPF's.
