Tonight was a big night for Mike Moritko!  He brought his great looking Extra 300 with his new twin cylinder gas engine neatly cowled in the Extra.  The engine was run by the factory before it was shipped.

Mike also bought a retirement present for himself in the form of a new Jeti radio.  You have to see the Jeti to appreciate how special it is!

Tom Egbert brought some of his new "Life" batteries.  Tom is going to convert his heli's to these batteries and eliminate the need for a voltage regulator.

This is Mike's new Jeti transmitter.  Mike is on the right.

This is Mike's new Extra 300.  Mike also brought an old Citizenship Transmitter that he used to use.  The TX was from 1956 or 57 and everyone was amazed at how the technology has changed since then.

Mike had a new light-weight fiberglass canopy made for the Extra and he did a really great job of shading it.

Mike had the trim made by Bad Brad Graphics.  The fuel tank is made from a PSP water bottle.

Here is a close up of a Carbon Edition Jeti TX like Mike's.
